Bodyline
Started in 1976. Made from the kitchen sink, the range started as a hobby and progressed from there. The products first started to be sold on a market stall in Devon and demand grew to the point where it was no longer a hobby, but a full time business. It wasn't long before a factory unit was taken over and Bodyline products were being sold all over the UK in independent shops. A trip to the NEC to exhibit at the Spring Fair really introduced Bodyline to the rest of the world. A few years later and product was going into countries like Canada, Australia, France, Spain, New Zealand, Trinidad and many more. Now we are proud to bringing to you, available to be sent direct to your door!
Bodyline to this day remains to be a more reserved product range. High quality packaging match the high quality ingredients used to make the products, which range from Aromatherapy soap to their famous Herbal Hand cream.
There are hundreds of products in the Bodyline range; currently we carry a selected few to give you a feel of the products they produce, we hope to increase the range in the future to bring you even more choice!
Lovely Bubbly
Lovely Bubbly wanted to experiment with fragrances, colours and packaging as well as finding totally new product ideas. They looked at how traditional products could be redesigned to reduce packaging so that waste could be minimised to help reduce our impact on the environment. Solid shampoos, bath oils and bubble bath allowed them to cut the use of plastic bottles and caps. By offering a more diverse range of soap blocks, shops could offer soap by the slice, replacing plastic and cardboard wrapping and reducing the use of shower gels, which require the use of plastic bottles. Recycling is better than landfill, but it is even better if you can avoid the need for recycling by not having any waste to recycle in the first place!
A secondary benefit is the cost saving from reducing packaging. Typically, when a customer buys a bottle of shampoo, a large portion of the cost will be on the bottle, cap and label, not to mention any extra outer packaging or gift tags. By reducing the focus on packaging, they are able to pass on the savings to our customers, making Lovely Bubbly a better value option. We are also able to focus on making the product sell itself with vibrant colours, powerful fragrances and high quality natural ingredients.
By making loose products like Solid Shampoo bars, they found that they were able to cram even more natural goodies into them. A traditional liquid shampoo can only hold so many plant extracts and oils before it all drops to the bottom of the bottle and looks unappetising. With a solid shampoo, "we don't have this problem and we can fit a lot more in."
There are lots of Lovely Bubbly products to choose from, we hope to increase our range in the future to bring you even more choice. |
